SmartWarePOS ("we", "us") builds point-of-sale software for retailers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and hashed password.
• Business data — products, orders, customers you enter into the app.
• Usage data — anonymized page views and error reports to improve the product.
• Payment data — processed by our payment providers; we never store card numbers.

2. How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, invoices, security alerts).
• To respond to support requests.

3. Where it lives

Cloud data is stored in encrypted databases in the EU. The desktop app keeps a local copy on your device that only you can access.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with sub-processors required to run the service (hosting, email delivery, payments), each under a data processing agreement.

5. Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by emailing privacy@smartwarepos.com.
